Medafor, Inc., Relocates to Larger Facility in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota
Triples Size of Operations, R&D and Warehouse Space

Minneapolis, Minn., July 10, 2003 -- Medafor, Inc., announced today that it has relocated its corporate headquarters to Brooklyn Center, a northern suburb of Minneapolis. The move accomplished a number of enhancements to the company's operations and customer service capabilities.

The new facility, located at 2700 Freeway Blvd., Suite 800, is more than 18,000 square feet with more than 8,000 square feet of warehouse. New features include an expanded reception and conference area and three times the laboratory and materials design and testing space of the old location. In addition, the site is close to Interstate 94, providing easy access to major highways, downtown Minneapolis/St. Paul and the International Airport.

The threefold increase in space will serve to accommodate the company's plans for expansion over the next three years, according to Josh Waldman, Chief Operations Officer. The timing of the move also allowed the company to take advantage of the buyer's market, reducing its expenses per square foot by nearly thirty percent over its previous lease, Waldman said.

The new space will allow the company to expand its finished goods inventory volume and provide improved fulfillment response for its hospital and direct-to-consumer sales. A Direct Individual Dialing phone system has also been added which will allow easier access to customer service and key corporate personnel; and the company's internet functions have been upgraded from DSL to T1 to provide faster web-based services with greater bandwidth.

In recent months, Medafor, Inc., has seen significant growth in its domestic and worldwide sales and has recently set up independent representatives and distributors serving hospitals in 36 states and 24 countries. Sales training and clinical support for Europe, Scandinavia and the Middle East is now being managed through Medafor's European sales office just outside Munich, Germany. BACK.
