MPatcH^® is a topical adhesive wound dressing, based on Medafor's MPH^® technology, for the local management and control of bleeding from vascular access sites and percutaneous catheters. MPatcH^® is FDA cleared and CE marked.

The convenient closure system
The patented MPH^® (Microporous Polysaccharide Hemospheres) technology of MPatcH^® demonstrably accelerates natural coagulation, without any intervention in the coagulation cascade. An extremely stable fibrin plug develops in a matter of seconds. Bleeding stops permanently. The MPH^® substrate is broken down enzymatically in the patient’s body within 48 hours. No systemic or local complications have been observed while administering MPatcH^®.

Simple to Apply
The intelligent design of the MPatcH^® integrates a user-friendly “press and pull” tab which quickly removes any surface blood at the same time as it releases hemostatic MPH^® particles into the wound or puncture site. Bleeding stops within a few minutes. When used for arterial bleeding at vascular access sites and for percutaneous catheter investigations, MPatcH^® can help surgeons to easily close puncture wounds.
